Carefully sourced certified Materials
The Butcher's tops are 8cm thick end grain beech The base of the island is redwood pine which will be painted in your choice of Farrow & Ball paint , together with a sealant to protect the finish from general wear and tear. The quality of the surface allows you to chop directly on to it, simply care for the wood using the complimentary oil supplied with your purchase and directions supplied to ensure a lifetime of enjoyment from your butcher's block island. please note we have changed the design of the stools to the ones shown seperate in the images on this page.
We only use materials from well managed forests and/or recycled sources in making your furniture.
We want to bring the Countryside into your home whilst ensuring our forests are alive for generations to come.
N.B to choose another Farrow and ball colour that is not shown on the swatch options, please choose the last swatch which is listed as "Any other Farrow and Ball colour" then just add to the notes section during checkout your chosen colour.
Design & Fitting Features
All our island bases come with 1 dovetail jointed drawer and 2 sturdy slated wood shelves.
This butcher's block island has a 20cm overhang to each end of the solid worktop to allow the use of 2 high stools rather than standard dining chairs. Please indicate if you would like your stools painted to match your island or wax finished to blend in with the island top (both styles are shown in the images on this page).
Options
For added manoeuvrability, all our butcher's block islands can be supplied with lockable castors. We paint the stool bases in your chosen island colour.
We offer a range of handles for the drawers on your butcher's block island - please choose your preferred variety when adding your island.
Although our standard height is 92cm, we will happily tailor your bespoke butcher's block island to the height of your own work surfaces there is a small charge for this.
