Materials

The Rustic plank top is approx 4cm thick and with the nature of it being reclaimed wood it can be up to 5cm thick and may be a different colour than the images on our website with all woods looking slightly different although we use the same finishing wax, which gives real individual character to the finish of the island. You can choose to have a smooth or rough finish to your top.

The base of the island is redwood  which will be painted in your choice of Farrow & Ball paint , together with a sealant to protect the finish from general wear and tear.  The quality of the surface allows you to enjoy the unique reclaimed finish with normal wood polishes. 

N.B to choose another Farrow and ball colour that is not shown on the swatch options, please choose the last swatch which is listed as "Any other Farrow and Ball colour" then just add to the notes section during checkout your chosen colour. 

We only use materials from well managed forests and/or recycled sources in making your furniture. 

We want to bring the Countryside into your home whilst ensuring our forests are alive for generations to come.

Design & Fitting Features

All our island bases come with two dovetail jointed drawers and a cupboard and two slated wood shelves. 

Options

For added manoeuvrability, all our Kitchen Islands can be supplied with lockable castors.

Supplied with 5 drawers and a 4 door double opening cupboard this stunning versatile Kitchen Island enables access from both sides, and with slatted shelves this beautiful Kitchen Island will become a stunning focal point in your Kitchen. Not only will you have extra storage but also that extra worktop space to help make life a little easier. Kitchen Islands create that all important social family space in your kitchen. 

We offer a range of handles for the drawers on your Kitchen Island - please choose your preferred variety when adding your island.

We can also provide this Kitchen Island without the top so that you could match the worktop to your original worktops already in place! 

Although our standard height is 92cm, we will happily tailor your bespoke butcher's block island to the height of your own work surfaces free of charge.
